In January 2002, I commenced a new and demanding full-time position in the City of Melbourne. This involved longer hours than I had been working and also involved 2 hours travel time per day. The result of this extra time was that I stopped doing any exercise at all. As the year passed, I became more and more frustrated, as I had put on weight and just didn’t “feel” good, within myself. I couldn’t even motivate myself to exercise. Finally, in October 2002, I decided to hire a personal trainer. I rang 6 personal training companies, none of which inspired me, and then I rang Active Life Style. I was immediately impressed. Here was a company that knew what they were doing, were extremely knowledgeable & professional, and were obviously very interested in what I needed and wanted to achieve. I was so pleased with that first conversation that I employed them on the spot. From there Chris came out to assess my fitness. Again I was impressed by the professionalism of this company. The personal assessment was very detailed and it was obvious to me that this was a company that really wanted to help me achieve my goals. Next my personal trainer arrived – Jacki Beer. Jacki is an absolutely fantastic trainer. She has trained me now, twice a week, for 3 months and I am absolutely thrilled her. She is extremely enthusiastic and is always encouraging me in my efforts. I am now feeling better within myself than I have in as long as I can remember and it is so exciting to see the changes in my body – even at my age. Now that I am fully into a routine of exercising, I have reduced my training sessions to once a week and I can honestly say that I can’t ever see myself giving that up. To anyone considering hiring a personal trainer, I couldn’t recommend Active Life Style more and I can thoroughly recommend Jacki Beer as an exceptional trainer. Sincerely Lesley T
